Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the tissue during the session.
Deep tissue massage is often associated with firm to very firm pressure, which can be very effective. However, while firm pressure certainly can feel good, harder is not always better. Too much pressure can actually damage the tissue if not properly administered and regulated. There are a number of more gentle techniques that are just as effective, if not more so, that can reach the deeper layers of tissues without that "hurt so good" feeling. Again, it is alway important to keep open communication with your therapist.
Hot Stone Massage is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.
Take away your stress while your feet are wrapped in warm towels before a gentle exfoliating scrub, followed by a soothing foot massage. This is a great addition to any massage.
Some benefits of a relaxing foot massage include relief from heel pain, improved circulation (great for cold feet!) and lowered blood pressure. It can also help relieve stress and tension which can reduce the effects of depression and anxiety.
Invest in your health. Revitalize and rejuvenate with a gua sha face and scalp massage. Gua sha is a traditional Chinese natural therapy that can be used to manage health and beauty. Gua sha is known to increase circulation, produce collagen, decrease puffiness and inflammation, tighten skin and brighten complexion --this is done through increased blood circulation and lymphatic flow. When done regularly and long term, gua sha can soften wrinkles, improve elasticity and release tension to relax your face muscles, giving an overall smoothing of the skin... a natural facelift!
The addition of scalp massage can help further reduce tension and anxiety while increasing relaxation and energy!
Fun fact: Jade gua sha is good for balancing the skin. Rose quartz gua sha is good for acne-prone skin. I have both!
*Contraindications: If you are currently taking anticoagulants/blood thinners, have any open wounds, sunburn or sensitive skin, this may not be an ideal treatment for you.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Cupping is used in the treatment of many types of muscle tensions, including common ailments such as neck pain, shoulder pain, tight trapezius, lower back pain, spinal congestion, and plantar fasciitis.
Lomi Lomi is the Hawaiian word for "massage", and it is part of a larger native Hawaiian tradition of healing and natural body care. According to Hawaiian tradition, all living beings are seeking a state of balance and love in the world. During a Lomi Lomi session, therefore, I focus on not only relaxing your body through gentle touch, but also reviving your spirit and filling your body with the energy of love.
Lomi Lomi is a therapeutic massage which involves long flowing strokes, rocking and stretching.
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.
